Šturmuodami sieną, migrantai neretai susižaloja
Maždaug 300 migrantų pirmadienį šturmavo sieną tarp Maroko ir Ispanijos Seutoje – praėjus kelioms dienoms po vieno didžiausių pastarojo dešimtmečio migrantų antplūdžių per šią sieną.
Kaip pranešė pareigūnai, jauni migrantai lipo per aukštą sieną, žyminčią tvorą į šią Ispanijos valdą Šiaurės Afrikoje, ir džiūgavo pagaliau patekę į Europos Sąjungos valstybę.
Kai kas bučiavo žemę ir šaukė „Ačiū, Viešpatie“ ir „Viva Espana“ („Tegyvuoja Ispanija“), bet kai kurių migrantų rankos ir kojos po lipimo per tvorą buvo kruvinos, o drabužiai – suplėšyti.
Seuta ir Melilja – kitas Ispanijos anklavas Šiaurės Afrikoje – yra vienintelės su Afrikos šalimis tiesiogiai besiribojančios Europos Sąjungos teritorijos. Į jas veržiasi afrikiečiai migrantai, trokštantys geresnio gyvenimo Europoje. Žmonės mėgina patekti į anklavus lipdami per pasienio tvoras, plaukdami palei pakrantę arba pasislėpę transporto priemonėse.
Ispanijos policija naujienų agentūrai AFP nurodė, kad į Seutos teritoriją „pateko 300, nors bandė dvigubai daugiau“.
Vos prieš kelias dienas, penktadienį, per pasienio tvorą perlipo beveik 500 migrantų. Tai vienas didžiausių į Seutą patekusių migrantų skaičių nuo 2005 metų, kai pasienio tvora buvo sustiprinta.
Praėjusį kartą tokie masiniai bandymai patekti į ES vyko Naujųjų metų dieną: daugiau kaip 1 000 migrantų bandė peršokti aukštą dvigubą tvorą tarp Maroko ir Seutos. Per incidentą vienas pareigūnas neteko akies.
Anklavą juosia 8 km ilgio ir 6 m aukščio dviguba spygliuotos vielos tvora.
