Lietuva pagal Europos Sąjungos programą pabėgėlius perkelia santykinai greičiau už Estiją, bet lėčiau už Latviją, rodo Europos Komisijos duomenys.
Iš įsipareigotų maždaug 1100 pabėgėlių Lietuva iki šiol perkėlė 254 asmenis ir įvykdė beveik ketvirtadalį kvotos. Estija iki šiol yra perkėlusi 98 imigrantus iš įsipareigotų 550 asmenų.

Latvija iš viso perkėlė 207 asmenų nuo tada, kai užpernai rugsėjį įsipareigojo priimti apie 800 asmenų.
Tačiau nemažos dalies į Lietuvą perkeltų pabėgėlių mūsų šalyje jau nebėra: vos tik susitvarkę visus reikiamus dokumentus, jie išvyksta į labiau ekonomiškai išsivysčiusias ES šalis – dažniausiai į Vokietiją ar Skandinaviją.
Vyksta vangiai
Savo ruožtu konservatyvioji Lenkijos vyriausybė atsisakė priimti pabėgėlius pagal ES programą. Ji nepriėmė nė vieno asmens.
Pabėgėlių perkėlimas vangiai vyksta visoje ES. Per daugiau nei metus į ES šalis iš Graikijos, Italijos ir Turkijos buvo perkelti maždaug 26 tūkst. migrantų iš 160 tūkst. asmenų, kuriuos susitarta perskirstyti.
